One Pot Spaghetti

This is seriously the easiest recipe to make. It was really good and the kids cleaned their entire plate!
Ingredients:
-1 Lb. Ground Beef
- 1 C. Sliced Fresh Mushrooms
- 1/2 C. Chopped Onion
- 1 Clove Garlic, minced
- 1 14oz Can Chicken Broth
- 1 3/4 C. Water
- 1 6oz Can Tomato Paste
- 1 Tsp. Oregano
- 1/2 Tsp. Basil
- 1/4 Tsp. Black Pepper
- 6oz Dried Spaghetti, broken
Cook ground beef, fresh mushrooms, onion, and garlic in a large saucepan until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain.
Stir in broth, water, tomato paste, oregano, basil, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Add the broken spaghetti, return to boil. Reduce heat, boil gently uncovered for 17-20 minuets or until spaghetti noodles are tender.
Serve and Enjoy!

Pepper Steak

I love crock pot meals!! You throw it in the crock pot in the morning and when it's dinner time it's ready!! This meal was super easy and delicious!! It made tons, so we will be having it one night for leftovers!
Ingredients:
-1 Lb. Round Steak ( I used 2 lbs)
-1 TBSP Cooking Oil
-1 14.5 oz Can Stewed Tomatoes Italian Style- undrained
-Salt
-Pepper
- 1 6oz. Can Tomato Paste
-1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
-1 16oz. package frozen vegetables stir-fry ( I used 2 bags)
Trim fat from meat. Cut meat into serving size pieces, sprinkle with salt and pepper. In a large skillet brown meat on both side in hot oil. Transfer meat into crock pot.
Add undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix together.
Top with frozen stir-fry vegetables.Cover and cook on low-heat for 10-12 hours or on high-heat for 5-6 hours.Enjoy!!

White Chicken Chili

Last night I made White Chicken Chili. We had never tried it before, but when I was at the store I saw the package and decided to try it! It was really good and super fast to make.
Ingredients:
-Cooking oil
-1 C. Water
-1 Tomato, chopped
-1 Avocado, sliced
-1 C. Frozen Corn
-1 can of White Beans undrained
-Shredded cheddar cheese
-One package of White Chicken ChiliCook the chicken in cooking oil until no longer pink.
Add water, corn, tomato, and beans. Let cook for 10 minuets and it's ready!!!
Serve with sliced avocado, cheese, and if desired sour cream.

Chicken Spaghetti

I love like really love chicken spaghetti! This recipe is really easy and yummy!! It made enough to feed 6 people and have a little left over for lunch the next day! Ingredients:
-4 C. Cubed Chicken
-8 oz. Package of Spaghetti
-2 Qt. (640z) Chicken Broth
-1 Green Pepper, chopped
-1 C. Mushrooms, sliced
-1 Onion, chopped
-1 TBSP Cooking Oil
-1/2 C. Butter
-2/3 C. Flour
-1 Tsp. Salt
-1/2 Tsp. Pepper
-4 C. Milk
-1 Lb. Cheddar Cheese, shredded
-1 Small Can Chopped Olives
-Grated Parmesan Cheese
Cook chicken in hot oil until no longer pink.


Cook spaghetti in chicken broth for 4 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water.
Saute bell pepper, mushrooms, onion and olives in oil until tender. Do not brown. Set aside.
Melt butter in sauce pan.
Add flour, salt, and pepper to melted butter. Stir until smooth. Cook 1 minuet. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly, cook over medium heat until it boils. Remove from heat.
Stir in cheese.Combine cheese mix, chicken, spaghetti, and sauteed veggies.
Place into a greased baking dish. Cover with foil. Bake at 400 for 1 hour. Remove foil, add Parmesan and bake 10 more minuets!! Enjoy!

Polenta Beef Stew

I really liked this stew. It took a little while to cook, but it was worth it!
Ingredients:
-Flour
-1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
-1 Tsp. Dried Thyme
-1 Tsp. Dried Basil
-2 Lbs. Boneless Beef Chuck Steak
- Olive Oil
-1/2 C. Chopped Onion
-1/4 Tsp. Dried Rosemary
-6 Cloves Garlic, minced
-1 14oz can Beef Broth
-1 1/2 C. Dry Red Wine
-8 oz. Boiling Onions
-Carrots cut into chunks
-1/4 C. Tomato Paste
-1 Recipe Polenta
Place flour, garlic powder, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper in a plastic bag. Add meat pieces, a few at a time, shaking to coat. In a skillet, brown meat in hot oil. Drain fat.
Add onion, rosemary, and garlic. Cook and stir until onion is tender. Stir in broth and wine. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours.Stir in boiling onions ( I didn't have any), and carrots. Cook for 30 more minuets or until veggies are tender.
Just before serving, stir in tomato paste. Serve with polenta if desired!

Steak with Sweet Pepper Sauce

Very good steak recipe! I'm sure you can use any kind of steak that you like but with this recipe I used sirloin!
Ingredients:
-2 Medium green and/or red bell peppers, cut into strips
-1/2 C. Chopped onion
-2 Cloves Garlic, minced
-1 TBSP Cooking oil ( I needed way more, but I used 3 lbs of steak)
-1 Lb. Steak
-Salt
-Pepper
-1/2 C. Beef broth
-1 Tsp. Oregano
-1 C. Chopped, seeded tomatoes
In a large skillet cook bell pepper, onion, and garlic in oil until vegetables are tender. Remove vegetables from skillet.
Season meat with salt and pepper. Place meat in skillet. Cook over medium-high until desired doneness. Transfer meat to serving platter, reserving drippings in the skillet. Keep warm.
For sauce, add beef broth and oregano to reserved drippings. Bring to a boil. Boil for 2-3 minuets. Stir in the cooked vegetables and tomatoes. Heat through. Spoon over meat.ENJOY!

Spaghetti

This is seriously the best spaghetti that I have ever made. I have used a lot of the sauces in the jar but none of them have all of the ingredients as this one!
Ingredients:
-1 C. Chopped Onion
- 1/2 C. Chopped Bell Pepper
- 1/4 C. Chopped Celery
- 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 TBSP Cooking Oil
- 4 C. Chopped, peeled tomatoes, or 2-14oz Can Chopped Tomatoes, undrained
- 1 6oz. Tomato Paste
- 2 TBSP Parsley
- 1 Tsp Basil
- 1 Tsp Oregano
- 1/2 Tsp Marjoram
- 1 Tsp Sugar
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/4 Tsp Pepper
- Spaghetti Noodles
I added a small can of mushrooms
In a saucepan cook onion, bell pepper, celery, garlic, and if using mushrooms in hot oil until vegetables are tender.

Stir in 1/3 C. Water, tomatoes, tomato paste, parsley, basil, oregano, marjoram, sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Simmer covered, for 30 minutes. Uncover and simmer for 10 more minutes.Serve over noodles and enjoy!!

BBQ Burgers

I made these burgers the other night and they turned out great! Instead of grilling them I used the George Foreman. They were really juicy and everyone loved them!
Ingredients:
-1/4 C. Catsup
-2 TBSP Steak Sauce
-1 TBSP Water
-1 Tsp Sugar
-1 Tsp Vinegar
- 1 Clove garlic, minced
- Few dashes of hot sauce
- 1 Lb Ground beef
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 1/4 Tsp Black pepper
For sauce, in a small saucepan combine catsup, steak sauce, water, sugar, vinegar, garlic, and hot sauce. Bring to a boil, simmer uncovered for 3 minutes. Set aside.
In a bowl combine ground beef, salt, pepper, and sauce mixture. Shape meat into patties.
Cook on grill (or George Foreman) until done!
